KE Quests Life Coaching was initially developed with a focus on Introverts who felt hindered in an extrovert world. Societies cultural norms seem to spotlight extroversion as normal, while introversion is in some cases deemed weak, or abnormal. Neither extroversion nor introversion is good or bad in themselves. The main difference between introversion and extroversion is how they discharge and recharge their energy levels. Extroverts gain energy by engaging with others and lose energy when they are by themselves. By contrast, introverts gain energy when they are by themselves and lose energy in the company of others. We will be posting articles about the differences in more detail in addition to our podcast, The Introvert Hero Program.
Even though we began with a focus on introverts, it became apparent that extroverts also need to learn to cope in a world seemingly built just for them. The key is for both the introvert, and the extrovert to recognize and respect each others differences and acknowledge each others strengths. When we respect each other it will reflect in all aspects of our lives.
Are you going through a stage in your life where you feel lost, confused, or conflicted? Do you feel like you’re disconnected with the people around you, friends, co-workers or even with yourself? Are you feeling a lack of motivation, or lack and understanding of your true purpose? Do you yearn for a romantic partner or the perfect job? or do you just want to upgrade your life to the next level?
As life coaches (guides) we are here to help you identify the obstacles that keep getting in your way, find motivation, clarify your personal or professional goals, work with you to brainstorm strategies to reach and fulfill your ideal life.
Elizabeth Gorman
I began life coaching as a dream job after recognizing that my friends, acquaintances, and co-workers sought me out for advice on a regular basis. Ironically, I am an introvert but, I found that most people just want to be heard and acknowledged. Using my ability to empathize and a strong sense of intuition, I posed a few questions to open the door for them to see other possibilities and come up with a plan to move forward.
My background includes a challenging upbringing as I was always shy, with social anxiety. As an introvert who has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds, My life experiences belie the fact that I am a highly sensitive, socially anxious introvert. I count in my successes a 20-year career in the U. S. Army, achieving the rank of sergeant first class. I was told by well meaning friends not to join the Army; that I would fail due to my shy, quiet, and meek personality; however, I successfully held positions as an administrator, inspector general investigator, a drill sergeant, a program manager, among many other high profile positions. The transition to civilian life was fraught with obstacles I had to overcome. I had numerous people-oriented jobs after retiring from the Army including being a correctional officer in a maximum security prison. My philosophy can be summed up with a quote by Marcus Aurelius, “The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting. The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.” Meditations, Book 5.20.
My professional training includes Holistic Life Coaching , Transformational Life Coaching, Holistic Health Practitioner, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, with additional holistic certifications in Reflexology, Yoga, Meditation, Attracting Abundance and Spiritual Healing.
Aside from coaching I enjoy family, friends, nature, camping and hiking, art, reading, research, old movies, and stoic philosophy.
I bring all the experience I’ve gained in addition to the training I’ve received to help you achieve your goals.

Because I am qualified in both counseling and coaching. It’s important to distinguish the difference between them because they are closely related and it can be confusing.

My background and education is in Engineering, and renewable energy. My professional dedication and experience along with my dedication to my own personal development has helped provide a framework from which to understand and respond to life’s tendency to unravel. I strive to be the best in all aspects of my life. I don’t always get it right. I am a work in progress. But, the commitment I make to that work is unwavering.
Growing up, I was ill-equipped to adequately navigate the varying terrain of my internal emotional landscape. I evolved from challenges life through at me. I was determined to make positive changes in my life and career. As I searched for meaning and what it means to be a good man, I was drawn to physical improvement and fell in love with the psychology of boxing. Boxing is a lot like life. It has technical, tactical, psychological, and physical aspects. It also requires mental toughness encompassing discipline, coping strategies, concentration, and stamina. But, there was still something missing. My interest in boxing led me to the Roman Gladiators, and eventually to philosophy. In studying the philosophy demonstrated by the gladiators, it helped me understand the importance of virtue. It’s important to exercise the body but only to the point of maintaining health without, sacrificing wisdom. So many athletes train their bodies to endure physical pain yet, so few train their minds to endure spiritual pain. According to Seneca, this is what prevents happiness.
My hobbies include, reading, anything outdoors, and carpentry. My mission is to be an example of the values I hold myself to: integrity, discipline, courage and compassion. I most enjoy time spent with my wife and son.
As your guide, I will empower your journey with authenticity, the skills, resources, and self-awareness to not only thrive but, to be the best version of yourself, as you journey toward your quest.
